This article is designated to visitors, who got to our site by accident and are not familiar with airsoft. Those who know what airsoft is about should understand certain briefness we use in this article.

     Airsoft is hobby (we wittingly do not say "sport") where two or more groups shoot each other with plastic bullets. These are shot from guns, that are powered by gas (stored in gun's reservoirs) or pressured air (piston+valve). Those guns can be very simple (single shot) or advanced with electrical engines (capable to fire bursts). I expect everyone heard of painball. Airsoft shares many properties with PB, except of that AirSoft bullets don't make any colour mark. All "game" is based on fair-play then. Which is one of the biggest "BUT" in airsoft, because almost in every airsoft battle few "immortals" can be found and even few of them can completely destroy the game.

     Airsoft guns look like 100% accurate copies of the original firearms. That's the reason many military reenacting groups has to do something with airsoft. Because it's the gun that makes soldier look like soldier.

      There are many airsoft teams in CZ also there are many sights and ways how to do it.
     Some teams just don't have any rules about uniforms, gears, weapon choice, tactics... they play airsoft only as "sunday-afternoon-joy".
     Some teams chose certain army to follow it as a style, but they don't give a damn about rank system, training activities, tactics. They just have same uniforms and sometimes same weapons.
     And some teams do full reenacting including smallest details about gear, uniform, tactics, weapon add-ons etc. As we said before: there are many ways how to do airsoft and not all teams can be categorized in three groups I've described.

      Also airsoft battles have many differencies. There are simple skirmishes like "team deathmatch" as we know from PC games. On the other hand, there are even three-day battles with more then hundreds of "soldiers", with sophisticated central command, where each team has its own missions and quests.

      As you already quess, our club belongs to the last mentioned way of doing airsoft and the same we can say about actions we prefere and participate in.
